Tell me more! Where is this so called "road" test occuring? Is it in and around BG or is at the plant?? Let me know, we need another ZO6 forum scoop.

Had my tour today (again)of the BG plant. Always enjoy myself, what a great tour! On my way in I saw a red Z06 leaving the area where they load the trucks, still having the white plastic over the hood, fenders and badge. Could have been a 2002, but it was impossible to tell because it had the 2001 wheels.

I did learn that they have produced 26 - 2002 coupes, verts and Z06's YTD many of which will be road tested this week. You were right Frank! They shipped all of the Electron blue cars to Michigan, but I did see a fender in the scrap pile that had to be Electron blue! It looked GREAT!!! No one that I asked, including Sonny, could tell me if it was an additional tinted clear coat like the MY or Mag red ($600 premium). Several hourly guys raved about the Electon blue.

Another interesting note was that yellow is now the second most produced color behind red. Black was in second place, but they are producing more yellow now to meet demand.
