yesterday evening I drove the car from 1st to second started hearing a metal grind lost the clutch feel 15 feet later grinding was louder as I stopped the car I was picking up particles of the street ...

Round throw bearing looked like and curved pieces of metal as well as clamp that was no longer bent but looked like an oil stick.
Any information would be appreciated.
Will have it a shop tomorrow

That does not look like a C5 or newer slave nor does that dip stick

As it is for a slave (throwout bearing ) to be on the ground the bellhousing would have to be blown apart and
the end shaft of driveshaft broken off

It’s a C6z modified and supercharged ... has a lot of work done to it... I googled the part on the part it’s a clamp that basically straightened it self out.

Your thoughts is end shaft / blown bell housing is my thoughts also

Thank you for the quick reply
