RMAC,

Sorry to hear your troubles!! I just finished getting the tire inflator goop straightened out...or I should say GM straightened it out.

Have you called Goodyear customer services?? These tires are pretty rare right now. They should be able to have a set overnighted in. I had a flat a couple months ago on a Saturday and the Goodyear dealership said they could have the tires delivered by Tuesday.

As Trumper mentioned www.tirerack.com has limited availability. The above link shows that Indiana has the stock front tires available and limited supplies in stock for the rear tires.

You can order online. Tell them you found the link at www.Z06vette.com /ubb/smilies/smile.gif

Varsity:

That's good to know, because once the tire is repaired, it's no longer ZR rated, so I guess a flat tire equals a new tire. That sucks, but what can you do?

MiZ06:
I followed your link to Tirerack for F-1 SCs but from what I read they are selling Y rated SCs. Isn't the correct tire a Z rated tire?

Has anyone switched to a different brand tire, something more easily available?

Also saw your photos. Beautiful Z!! What do you use to get that shine? Just curious.

Actually the people who build the Z06 tires, Goodyear, say the tire DOES retain it's speed rating if a commonly reapairable nail hole is repaired in the tread area following Goodyear procedures.

Please gentlemen, let's state opinion as opinion so as to not to add to the confusion.
