I'm sure that the General would love to seeing how they have so much trouble with there design. Unfortunately they are required by Federal Law to have some sort of anti-thief device on all cars. On the automatic transmission cars they were able to get around this because there is a lock in the transmission shifter. :cheers:pauln64 said:with so much trouble with it, why don't they just disable it for now until there's a permanent fix
true. But there's really no theft proof car. If they want it bad enough, they'll get it. But I don't see why the stock alarm system could not qualify as anti-theft.Tony Skarbic said:I agree, disable it. I wonder why the Alarm System could not be considered as complying with the requirement of having an anti theft system? All the column lock is, is a determent, it's not theft proof.
My only concern with the Trunk Monkey is space in the trunk. Can you really get as big a monkey as you want?rpallas said:I'm training my trunk monkey right now....having trouble teaching him how to hold and shoot a gun! Checked with AARP...trunk monkeys are good. :thumb:
for sure.....w/o the reflash, you have a possibility of breaking the steering free with the pull like hell manuever....once the recall is done, you don't even have that opportunity since the gas flow is cut off.....Tony Skarbic said:Having the recall done is useless.
