It's common knowledge that the Z06 makes a top speed of "171" flat out in 5th gear, but what about 6th? With +20hp in 2002, I wonder if the power curve (at the peak) is nearly flat beyond 6000 rpm all the way to the rev limiter? Obviously, this would help the Z06 make a still higher top speed in 5th gear
compared to the current model.

But what I'd like to know is what can the 2001 LS6 can pull the car to in 6th given enough running room? And what might that
be for a 2002 Z06?

Obviously, we can expect to see a slightly higher top speed in 2002, but what can the LS6 pull the car to given unlimited running room? Anybody know or have a good idea (as in "been there, done that"). /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif
