Torque management question:

In the version of LS-1 edit that I have, under the torque management settings, there is a MAX torque value, and then an RPM table that has torque values per RPM.

My question is, is this table a plot of the actual engine torque output, and should be filled with tq values from a dyno run, or is this the maximum allowable torque at a given RPM?

Also, the max torque number there, is this the maximum allowable engine torque or is this the maximum torque the engine is capable of?

Mine says 350 in my Z06....wondering if it should be raised to 400?

Anyone who is an LS-1 edit guru who actually knows how this works please help.

Thanks!

Then what is the RPM table under the torque management window used for?

To me, it seems that this table sets the MAX torque at a specific RPM that the engine is capable of assuming no reduction. The single number must mean the MAX torque allowed?

But I don't know for sure what the RPM table is.....is it the MAX torque the engine can make, or the max torque the engine is allowed to make at specific RPM levels?

PS: You guys understand the table I am referring to? There is the MAX Torque figure, and then also the RPM table.

There is a Remove Retard area. Put zero in that box and all the other rpms tables mean nothing.
On the max torque value you can't put in more than 639 or it reverts back in torque value. I have mine set like that and I still have 85% percent of traction control. It just takes a second longer to kick in..
That is the MAX torque that the PCM is looking for in order to cut back. ALTHOUGH that is not what I have for real torque my traction control still works.

Please send me your torque values fill--I am just editing after my add-ons and had a problem on last 3 runs-all the same curve even when AF ratio changed (13.5-12.6) and timing 21-28---all graphs remained the same. I looked in the TMgt file and the setting was 64.0 not 640 max. Could this have caused the problem??
