Anyone able to give a good track time, etc.. compare??

Looking at either tire to run DE's and drive around on. Occasional Solo1 also.

I found them nearly equal in terms of lap times when at optimum temp. Key difference is behavior at temperature extremes. The Cups take forever to get warm enough to have any grip (we are talking LESS than street tires). Not recommended for cold weather events. On the flip side, I ran them in July for a solid hour (full tank of gas!) at Road Atlanta, and they never went away. They kept going, and going, and.. The Toyos would have lost a lot of grip at about the 20 minute mark in 100 degree weather like that.

Thanks that helps especially since I will be doing several solo1 events.
Sounds like toyo's on the stock rims might be a nice inexpensive solution for additional grip.
