Got a call from Criswell Chevrolet this morning that my EB TPW was moved back from 7/23 to 7/30. I still have a 3100 event code. Seems that this is happening to a lot of folks - so if you thought you had a 7/23 TPW, you might want to check.

Evidently it takes a few days for the plant to get back up to speed once they re-open on 7/16. Also, it seems that BG is planning a sizeable run of EB Z06s the week of 7/30. According to Judy Yenko from the Museum, it takes about 32 hours to build each vehicle.

Inquiring minds want to know...

BLEUBYU, Thanks for info bro. I got the same call yesterday and that why I posted it for a possible heads up.

Are you thinking of going down and watch your car being built. Let me know I have been thinking about doing that?

We possibly be able to watch our twins being born and talk about mods over a cold one.

Hey 2003, guess misery loves company! I am not planning to go down to watch the build. Judy Yenko told me to call her back on 7/19 to get exact info re sequence # and date of build - you might want to check it out with her that day.

I am still hoping to pick the car up on 8/23, and Judy said that is still a good possibility. We are booked into the 1869 Homestead for the evening of 8/22.

As for mods, I have already ordered an FRC partition from Nate under the GP - should be arriving today. Other mods contemplated:

Vortex
Long tube headers - no pups anymore, but which headers are best??? Planning to talk to Doug Rippie about this, he has done work for me before
CAGs
Steering Column Lock eliminator
172 degree thermo and fan kit - these cars just run too damn hot!
Possible chrome wheels.

And, there are intriguing rumors of an electric water pump...

Still hope to get the car in time to take to the Carlisle show.
