Does the transmission needs to be break-in on the Z? If so, when should I change the fluid and what's best to use?

I changed all my fluids at 800 miles just so I knew. Per the owners manual & my service dept @ the dealer, I put in Dextron 3 back in the trans; and Delco 75w90 synthetic gear lube in the rear. BTW: Found no shavings in either; but at 435 miles I did find shavings in the oil pan, and again at 800 I did as well. Bought the Delco gold premium oil filter for added protection. Good luck!

Did you use synthetic Dextron III?
