I know a guy that has HP tuners and he's already ordered the upgrade for an 03 Z06. He thinks I definitely need to retard timing if I'm spraying. I'm using a 5177 dry shot with 125 jets on a K&N fipk induction. He's also talking about "torque managment" that supposedly the Z06 has programmed which he says he can eliminate with the software.
With a lot of the posts I've read, some of the best times are still running stock tunes so I don't want to change anything n/a.
What are your opinions? Should I spray it, get some numbers and leave it alone if the a/f is safe? What numbers should I be aiming for?
