Hazard switch

Hi there,
Your turn signal flasher is integral with your hazard switch, and replacing it requires that you remove the upper dash pad to change.
Why are you changin it???

I want to use Amber LED turn signals in my clear Euro tailights, the blink rate is too fast with the LED's in place. The manufacturer says a "Variable Load Turn Signal Flasher" is required for turn signal applications. The say you can purchase them at any good auto part store. Any suggestions....Bill

Not really, the problem is to increase your load, with your LEDs.
HOnestly, what I would try is to measure the resistance of the light bulbs in each circuit, meaning the left and the right circuits separately.
then, purchase an appropriate resistor of similar value, one for each circuit, and install in the wiring. This should simulate the load of the light bulbs in your circuit, and cause the flasher to function similarly.
Please let us know if we can help further, c4c5

My thoughts exactly, I will measure current and then calculate the normal load and use a resister to get the flasher at the correct rare. I'll let you know how it turns out....Thanks for the help ....Bill:)
