Vendors, is there any word on the bassani bolt-in off-road pipe for the Z06 yet?

DaveP- Bassini and Random Tech are both working on the bolt in off road pipes. Randoms x pipe will come with hi flow cats though. Still, as far as I know, no one has released anything yet as far as bolt in.

Sounds interesting. I'd probably stick with the RT since a) I have an account with them and can get an "evaluation" unit

and b) it still has cats....I need to be able to pass emissions here in NC. Can't wait to hear more.

Halltech and Bassani Exhaust Unite

Bassani and Halltech will be dyno testing Bassanis new Z06 exhaust in which the manufacture has already claimed 25 RWHP for just the exhaust.

Halltech will be providing them with the Titanium TRIC, Carbon Fiber Max Air Generator next week for a redyno session.

Stay tuned for the results.

We also have a volunteer Z06 for our B&B Z06 headers, with results shortly.

Does the new Z06 exhaust bassani has remove the cats? 25 hp isn't easy even with long tubes...

I guess Jim says 'manufacturer claims...maybe bassani tested already...looking forward to those results.

RG... exactly!! They will not be getting 25 RWHP without removing all the cats, and mufflers! Just a catback has shown less than 10HP... no matter who's setup. I have a custom built, dual Borla XR-1 Race Muffler system, and only gained about 5 RWHP. Without screwing around before the cat's you will not see 20+ RWHP!

We just heard this from Bassani on Thursday, and we are skeptical at this point. The system is suppossed to use only one muffler which does not make sense.

We'll provide details Monday or Tuesday, when more details arrive.

Random already has a header back cat system for the C5.

If anyone has more information than what we saw in Corvette Fever, it would be interesting.

Does'nt GM have an offroad / export pipe available for the z06's that get shipped overseas to countries that still have leaded gas?????

If so, they should also have a export chip.
