The VR unit was designed to work best when above 65 Mph. These speeds (65 Mph+) exceed the air speeds created by the motor at wide open throttle on a stock C5 in the air ducts themselves when stationary. They designed the VR unit to build air pressure in the system at low speeds where it can be put to use. This is just one of many reasons behind the VR performance gains that you will see in the real world, on the road or track conditions.

Most people race on the dyno not the track. This is common practice and, in general, most people feel the highest dyno number will win or is best. This is simply not the case. A car that has a strong power curve under peak Hp is best for auto crossing, drag racing or just normal daily use.

The dyno numbers that have been seen for the VR-B2 vary depending on the year of Corvette that you have and whether it is a 6-speed or an automatic and the filter chosen for the test. For this reason we will give you dyno ranges that you should expect to see (all numbers are given after the computer has completed the relearn process). Note: Automatic cars tend to gain more due to the fact that the transmission is controlled by the factory computer and it will alter the way the transmission operates. All numbers are for a stock C5 or Z06 measured at the rear wheels. Ram effect is measured using a millibar gauge at speed tapped directly into the manifold (all readings taken at sea level).

We have this system on sale for $329.99 through May 1st!

Orders can be placed online or by calling 1-877-482-9763.

Have a good day!

Customers that I've talked to have seen at least a 2 tenth improvement at the track with this system. Air is forced into the induction and then into the motor when the vehicle is at speed.

Our last in stock system shipped yesterday but another batch will be arriving here in the next few days.

Thanks,
Tom
