Hello all,

Just purchased a very clean '01 Z06. Basically stock outside of a Blackwing Induction and tune with a very low 38k kms.

Outside of a few tiny rock chips the car is basically flawless.

Look forward to searching through the forums as I begin the journey to make the car my own.

Cheers!

I'll certainly get those up soon. Just rearranging the garage to accommodate. My wife will not allow her car to be displaced lol. The previous owner was kind enough to give me to the end of this week for pick up. It was a very spontaneous purchase 😆

Very nice. I thought all Z06's had Heads Up. I guess it was an option in 01. I had an 01 just like that but without the mod red interior. My first Z06 I bought it on 01 and that is what started my journey and my time on this site. Looks like new! Best of luck with it.
Ghost flames on the hood.

Thanks Dan, The car is pretty incredible. Single owner also purchased in '01. I was provided documentation showing it was the first Z06 imported into Canada, and was used for the "marketing tour" through Canada. It was then lotteried (is that a word?) to all Chev dealers that were not yet selling Corvettes and CMP Chev out of Calgary won it, which is where it was purchased. It really is in incredible shape, near new, fair weather driven, and only caught in the rain a couple of times.

I know I could have gone out and found a car that was newer, faster, etc... but when I was 23 years old, THIS WAS my halo car. Crazy that at 43, I'm old enough to to remember drooling over a car as a young adult and then purchase and insure said car as a "classic" lol.

Yes! They're actually quite tastefully done and at high quality. In some lights you wouldn't even notice them, then the sunlight grabs them and they pop. Not something I would have done myself, but also not something I'm going to remove.

I was going to give you a thumbs up emoji but couldn't figure out how to do it. Thumbs up. I had a 68' Shelby GT500KR that I had a guy airbrush a cobra on the underside of my hood years ago, so been there, done that.
