So I came up with the bright idea to buy a Donaldson Blackwing for my '03 to replace the zip-tie modded OEM filter assembly. However, I previously swapped out the OEM airbridge for a Halltech Stinger airbridge and it combined with the Blackwing is a no-go under the stock hood.

Turns out that correctly installing the Blackwing cause the Stinger to raise about 1/2" above the radiator shroud. Even with the Stinger in it's normal correct position the hood clearance is tight. With the Donaldson in place it cause a deformity in the hood - with the blanket removed.

So, those of you using the Donaldson Blackwing air filter, what airbridges would you recommend?

Until you pass the 570 hp mark use the stock air bridge, TB and MAF. Changing usually results in tuning problems, decel rich/lean conditions and, except for cosmetic reasons, do not make any more hp. Save that money for H/C, FI or other real power adders.
