there have been people on here that say you cant put in a order yet,,some say they have their order#,,and some even know when they should receive their Z. I was gonna go with a sponser on the corvette forum but my local dealer is gonna give me 1,000$ off msrp,,but he said that they will know nothing till chevrolet puts it in the system,,he even showed me on the computer where it would be. so how are some getting all this accomplished and some arent,,i would think that no one could do anything until chevy makes their move,,,explain please,,thanks!?!?

I too, am anxiously awaiting my 2002 e-blue Z06. I have a deposit on the car, and I trust my dealer. With that said, I do not have an order placed with the factory. I have informed the dealership to notify me immediately when Chevrolet opens the ordering process, and they agreed, then told me I will get the first e-blue 2002 Z06 from them.
I am comfortable with that arrangement, and believe that actual orders for production are not available right now.

Hopefully, this will help answer your question, and as soon as I know more, will post here for everyone to see.
