I need everyones help on where a good place would be to go and what it might cost to overhaul the transmission in a 1990 ZR1. nothing is wrong with the gears. Its mainly the syncros. I also may need to replace the ring and pinion in the rear end and get the shocks rebuilt. I would appreciate everyones info and help on where i should go near sac. And since i might go in the morning to purchase it, if anyone has any ideas on what these repairs might cost it will help out alot. thanks guys :) Have a good weekend and drink a few for me:cheers: :guiness:

There is a firm in Phoenix, I believe that is an authorized ZF repair center. You might try TeamZR1.com for more info.

Here you go

Hi there,
A dealership can do it, however, I suggest ZR51 performance.
Bill Boudreau is the man in this particular field.
A ZF specialist, you can find him at ZFDoc.com.
He also has a few other upgrade items for c4 that you may consider.
Best to you, c4c5
