Wheels were sent out for a new treatment, basically to "modernize" the look of the car. We also replaced the TPMS sensors while the tires were off. These sensors were 10 years old.

Originally we had a lip machined onto the stock competition grey wheels to provide an edge. The new look consisted of painting the wheels Carbon Flash (a somewhat pearlescent metallic black) at a local bodyshop. After installation, we installed "Rimsavers", a product from the UK which offers a reasonable level of protection for minor scuffs. They recently set up shop in Canada.

We no longer need to buy a new car! (actually we have two on order but they are not Corvettes).

So far I am liking the updated look.

The Rimsavers.com site is in the UK.

Looks good Jacob!

Now you have me thinking about the TPMS on my car. Are those battery powered?
Yes they use a battery which has a normal life of 7 to 10 years, depending on mileage. I thought since I had everything apart, I would do the sensors. Actually, the new sensors cost less than the re & re & balancing on the wheels at the local shop with a specialty (zero damage) tire mounting machine.
