I left town for a week with my Valentine Radar detector on in my Z06 that was parked at home and came back to a totally dead battery.

It was so dead the little under the hood light would not even glow.

I figured all of my memory and other presets would be gone and I was worried my computer codes would be many and my resets would take a long time. I did a trickle charge all night and found 100% of my previous settings to still be there. This is just FYI but since I went through it I figured I would share what happened.

Drained mine twice with the V1 left on /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif before I hardwired it./phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

In both cases, I rapid charged the battery, once using 150 feet of extension cords. Worked fine with no ill effects nine months after the fact, after ignoring warning that rapid charging of a fully discharged battery would harm it.

Just my experience. No implied warranty.
