I'm about to install a bottle heater and I know it uses quite a few amps. I will be using the auxilary pigtail under the footboard for a switched ignition for the purge solenoid and the switched ignition source of the switches. Does anyone know the maximum amperage the orange 12V constant wire can handle... orange wire being one of the three auxilary wires (yellow, black, and orange). Is there a 12V post anywhere near the battery I can tap into?
Thanks

There is a 12v post right next to the battery. Just forward of the battery is a black box that hides the fuses. On the passenger side of that box is a mark...."B1"........right under the cover at that point is a perfect spot for high amperage loads (it's the main bus feed for that fuse block) and it's in a convenient area for feeding through the firewall into the passenger footwell area.
