Hey Guys, I decided to post this question here instead of the FRC section so that I could get a faster answer. What would be better for me to go with on my stock 2000 Hardtop? The stock Z06 exhaust or the PRT's? I heard a set of Corsa indy's the other day and the really do sound like a motor boat, so there out. What's everyone's opinion on this.

The PRT's make the car sound like the muscle car that it is. I put the PRT's on the Z06 and removed the titanium. I highly recommend the PRT's.

I have the PRT's on my '01. Comfortable around town...WOT is WOW! They sound beautiful! Fit and the polished finish is excellent!

Definitely go with the PRT's!

I've got the Corsa Indy's, and they sure don't sound like a motorboat!! Of course, the headers, Basanni x-pipe, and high flow Random cats must make a difference in how it sounds. On Vette runs with our club, and other clubs I constantly get rave reviews on how great my Z sounds, especially at WOT.

From what I've read on this forum, you can't go wrong with the PRT'S. If you want to hear/see a Z with the PRT's in a drag race, go to: www.hennesseymotorsports.com Click on LS1/LS6 modifications. WOW!!

FWIW, I was going to keep my TI exhaust, but Steve Cole @ TTS told me his extensive dyno testing proved the TI system was great up to 6,000 rpm, BUT became highly restrictive at that point.....HTH.

There are more aggressive sounding exhausts out there than the TI Z06.

I do know the titanium exhaust for the Z06 flows better than stock and is lighter.

I like the exhaust note thay have but agree it isn't "in your face".

I invariably spend bucks for power enhancement or weight savings. I prefer the Titaniums... it's your money and your criteria you need to satisfy.
