I've had the hoosier r3so4 and liked them,,, but they are fairly expensive. I was just wondering what other R compound tires work good. Also what tire size is best for the stock rims?

I use Toyo RA1's - don't expect them to be as sticky as Hoosiers though. But you can get a set for under $1,000 and they usually last quite a bit, plus they're ok to drive on the street.

Ditto. They have a tread-wear rating of 100, hard to believe they are R compound. Again not as sticky as the Hoosiers but they last a good long time and are leagues above street tires. And they are not to bad in the rain (on the track)

I'm a huge Kumho V710 fan!!!! You can pick up a whole set for much cheaper than the GYs or Hoosiers and will last longer. The tires are just flat fabulous...and cheap!!!!!!
