I have put together a rough agenda for Winterfest based on what I have read here and discussed with Jimbo. This will give folks an idea of what is planned for Winterfest. The last time we stayed at the Grace Inn (Winterfest 2) we had access to the hotel mini-bus which worked out fine for going out to dinner in a group. We did not have to worry about parking in the Phoenix area and could enjoy some beverages with dinner. :yeadog:

This agenda is subject to change and I will update it with more firmer times as they become available.

Phoenix people - if there is someplace that you would recommend for lunch or dinner any/all suggestions are welcome. It would be nice to say "Here's were we are going for dinner tonight" and not have to sit around and discuss where to go for an hour.

24 Mar (Wed) Mid day - arrive at hotel
Evening - Dinner - Carrabba's Italian Grill
Evening - Party at hotel

25 Mar (Thu) 10:30 am - Cruise to Payson (or other destination)
Lunch - Payson (or other)
Evening - Dinner (Rustler's Rooste)
Evening - Party at hotel

26 Mar (Fri) Morning - Tbd
Lunch - Tbd
2:00 pm - F1 indoor go carts
6:00 pm- Firebird Raceway - Drags
Evening - Dinner tbd
Evening - Party at hotel

27 Mar (Sat) Morning - Firebird Raceway -Road course
Lunch - Firebird Raceway
Evening - Dinner - Japanese Steak House (Kobe or Shogun)
Evening - Party at hotel

28 Mar (Sun) Morning - Say Goodbyes

Sounds like a lot of fun Tom :yeadog:. My dad and I will more than likely be there. Unfortunately we aren't going to be able to drive, but we will fly in, rent a car, and come along for the fun. We will make reservations when we find out if we can go or not for sure. I am really looking forward to this.

Nice job Tom...

The only thing I see a problem with is the go carts.
F1 race factory doesn't even open until 2:00PM...
From the responses it looks like a small group so we can juggle events and times! Locals already have tunes and it looks like Jimbo may be the only one from out of state....
Well, we have drags and roadracing set!
The rest we can play by ear!!

Thanks Ken,

I have adjusted the agenda to reflect the 2:00 start time for the go-carts. We will adjust as necessary when we see how many participate.

Is Saturday the solid day for Road Course? This is the same as last year, correct? We had to do the new comer driver school and then it was 4 20 minute sessions? Reid from Tucson wants to get in on this too.

As of right now, Saturday is the day. This is the same as last year except on Saturday instead of Friday. If you have a current license with Pro-Autosports, then you do not have to attend the new comer driver school, if not, you do. Last year Saturday was at Speedworld (drags).
