Hi, I'm interested in getting a Vette, and only in a Z06 Trim. Anyways, I was wondering how difficult is it to acutally get one. Like is there a 1 year waiting list like the new M3? Would I have to pay a premium over the sticker in order to get it?

Did any of you pay below sticker??

Mr guy:

Welcome to the forum!

Some dealers are discounting their remaining 2001 Z's because the '02 model is out.

Try calling Les Stanford at 1-800-699-VETT, and ask for Kevin Will. I am on their referral program and if anyone tells Kevin "Zippy sent me," I receive a referral fee....I then split that with the new customer after he/she takes delivery. Stanford can arrange for nationwide shipping, or you can opt for the Museum delivery in Bowling Green, Ky.

Another option is to read "Corvette & Chevy Trader" magazine, Hemmings Motor News or DuPont Registry, they all have advertisements from various well known Vet dealers. Good luck in your search and just wait to you drive your new Z! WOW-WEE! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Mr. Guy,

Zippy's correct about pricing being discounted on 01's and expect to pay around MSRP for an 02. There is no need to pay over MSRP for an 01 or 02.

02's will start hitting the dealers as early as next week. You may have a little wait for an 02 but not more than a couple of months unless you pick a "constrained" color the wait could be longer.

hey guys thanks alot, I'm actually graduating next year in May of 2002, and i'm saving cash to finance a possible Z06 or M3. I have a 97 Honda prelude right now, and well its a nice car and all but I want neck snapping, cheek vibrating speed from a car.

If you guys don't mind, could you tell me how much you pay on monthly payments and how much you put down up front?

It all depends on your financial status. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Myself, personally, I'll be putting down about $25K - $30K. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I don't want to end up paying around $80K for this car, after finance charges of course. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
