Dropped in to Carvaggio today to check out various customizing options.
Was told that the Z06 starts out as a vert and that the hardtop is "glued" on!:-? Therefore there is no need to reinforce body when making the conversion to either the vert or the coupe. I found this most surprising. I luv the vert, but wanted the performance of the Z. So, if John is correct, why won't the general let us vert luvers have a Z vert, without having to pay an additional $14K to get a custom mod?
Checked out some of the other stuff he has and was really impressed with the custom seats and interiors. Very cool.
