We have 2001 Headers in stock from TTS as well as B&B, for your Z06. Free ground shipping is included.

B&B:

A weight savings with the B&B's along with less labor on the installion, about 2.5 hours, tops are a couple of benefits of these recently released headers. They are half the weight of the stock Z06 manifolds currently on the car. An all stainless steel construction in a true step header design worth 11-15 extra horses.

TTS:

The TTS offer a few more ponies and torque down low and are the best quality out there. Design/coating/flanges/workmanship, you name it, they are the best I have seen on after market headers in this class. Figure a 6 hour install with these.

Please email me if interested in pricing information.

Thanks!

RG

Steve, the long tube headers offer more than double the hp of the shorties, there is a ton of welding on the long tube headers and the pre cats are removed with long tube headers. The LS6 engine needs long tube headers, we gained 30 plus hp with the long tubes and the removal of the pre cats. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I have an EB 02 Z06 on order and one of the mods I am contemplating is headers. I have heard great things about the quality and power potential of the TTS headers on a motor that is mostly stock.

Here are my questions: Are these headers coated inside and out (in my previous experience these coatings make a substantial difference in reducing heat and improving thermal efficiency); and if the '02's still have the pup or pre converters, will removing these cause the car to fail emissions testing? We have fairly rigorous testing here in Northern Va, car on dyno, different RPMs, etc.

Thanks for your help on this!

Yes, the TTS models are coated inside and out and beautifully done. Thick flanges, tight welds and healthy collectors.

The pre cats being removed shouldn't cause you an emmission issue given that the rest of the cars emmission system is intact and operating properly.

We have stock on both TTS and B&B headers.

Thanks!

I Want Them!! How much? (Long tube) Who on this Forum has them and what are your actual experiences/results? Is this a direct warantee violation?

30+ HP....is this real or BS? I would almost be willing to screw the warantee for this gain! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Do the TTS headers reduce ground clearance? When viewed from front along the botton of the car do the stick out below the floor pan? Did that once on a previous vette and I don't want to repeat this mistake.

JZ,

We haven't seen a 30 hp gain with either set, maybe hcvone is speaking of a situation different than we are familiar with.

I sent you email on pricing a moment ago.

We have seen just over 30hp gain with pre cats removed on 2000 LS1 engines, the 01' Z06's have seen a 22 hp gain(the LS6 has better stock exhaust manifolds than the LS1 so the gain was less) with long tube headers but not TTS headers. I have seen TTS headers and they are good quality.

I just recieved all of my exhaust components that I had on order. I got a set of the B&M "shortie" headers, Bassani off road X pipe (no cats) and the B&M PRT system with oval tips. I was wondering if any of you out there have a similar set up. How does it sound and what kind of HP/performance gains did you experiance.
