I had posted sometime back that my "Z" had gone from 1 qt of oil every 800 miles to almost 1600 miles.
Well I am happy to say I am up to 2200 miles before she asked for oil this time and I still drive it like I stole it, 5500 rpms out of 1st and 2nd 75% of the time and a lot of down shifting. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hey Tom, That's great news! If this continues, soon you will have to drain off a quart from time to time just to keep the crankcase from being too full. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif I hope your oil consumption continues to decline. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who isn't afraid to drive these cars like they were designed to be driven, hard and fast.
BTW, I have a Janurary 2001 born Z06, and it has very little oil consumption after 1900 miles.
