I had posted sometime back that my "Z" had gone from 1 qt of oil every 800 miles to almost 1600 miles.
Well I am happy to say I am up to 2200 miles before she asked for oil this time and I still drive it like I stole it, 5500 rpms out of 1st and 2nd 75% of the time and a lot of down shifting. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hey Tom, That's great news! If this continues, soon you will have to drain off a quart from time to time just to keep the crankcase from being too full. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif I hope your oil consumption continues to decline. It's nice to hear some good news on this topic for a change. jerboa

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who isn't afraid to drive these cars like they were designed to be driven, hard and fast.
BTW, I have a Janurary 2001 born Z06, and it has very little oil consumption after 1900 miles.
