Throttle bodys are the same.
You only see results with a larger throttle body on head & cam or stroker engine.
I have tested this on a dyno and I did lose 4 HP but I also changed my plugs to Bosch +4's at the same time. I am not sure which to blame it on because when I put the stock throttle body back on I did not get the HP back.
I am going to try a different set of plugs and see what happens.

Tom, I have heard that many times with Bosch +4 plugs, my 5.9 lost power with the +4's. Try NGK TR55's in the Vette, they work very well.

Putting one what?
I see that you have an 02' Z06 on order. By the way that you have stated your message, it would seem that you have a regular C5 with the LS1 engine. I'm a little confused, either way, the bigger throttle body shouldn't add that much more HP, if any. The stock TB is extremely effective, unless you go for excessive:I don't know the meaning of this word, especialy when it comes to my toys, 02' Z06 especially /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif engine work. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
