Sure do!

Why not?

Think about it this way, if you are too scared to let someone park your Z06 because of the price you paid for it or the idea that it might get banged up, maybe you truely can't afford the vehicle in the first place.
Next time you might wanna just get yourself a nice Cavalier and you won't have to stress or worry about it.
Bottom line is, enjoy your car, drive it often, valet park it and if something happens to it, get yourself another one!

Of course this is just my opinion!

HAHAHA

No. Not because I am worried about someone thrashing my car.I don't want any door dings, or scratched rims from parking to close to the curb, etc. ;)

I can afford the car just fine, I just afford the jail time that I would get if some ahole screwed up my car.

HELL NO!! My niece's future husband parks cars for a 5 star hotel as a part time job and I have already heard his bragging of what he has done with other people's vettes.

Nope. None of my cars. Even if I bought a cavalier. I grit my teeth when I hand the keys to the GM service guys.... no easy way around that unless I want to take a week off work and camp out at the chevy house

Damn, currently I am looking for a new job, got new management at my current job and they suck to put it nicely....Anyway I was thinking of doing valet at some nice places near me in hope of parking a Z, from the replies here I guess tht wouldn't happen...

Hey anyone need a 21year old in Northeast New Jersey? I am looking for $10+, all proceeds go to the paying of the Trans Am and funding the 2006 Z06 foundation
Even just to watch your car while your at work???

i used to valet cars in Dallas.
you treat a valet with respect and he'll do the same for you and your car. + if you respect your car the valet will also!
you name it...I parked it. one of our regulars tought me how to drive his paddle shift 355.

when you pull up the a place all you need to do it take a look at the valets and if they looks like college kids or so, who just really like cars and know cars, you'll be ok. you run into trouble and door dings when you get the valets who don't know car and are their because they NEED the job.

Never - No way - No how!

In this sue happy world you can be held ultimately responsible for anything anyone does in your car even if they have stolen it. Especially if they are a minor. Did you know, in many states and areas, there is no legal requirement that a "valet driver" has to have a driver's license?

...This isn't to say that there aren't good reputable valet drivers and services available. However, just because a hotel has 5-stars or a restaurant has Mercedes, BMW and Porsches in the lot doesn't mean they are also really taking care of your car.

It depends on the situation. In general no, but in some cases I might. For instance when I go out in the city (Chicago) SOME resturants have private lots for the valets to park your car in. Other resturants literally just block off a chunk of street parking nearby and charge you 500% what it would cost you to park in the same spot! If I know the resturant has a secure private lot, I'll let the valet take the car, but if it's just going to get parked on the city streets anyway, no thanks. Sometimes I just slip the valet a 20 and he will let me park it in the private lot myself.
