Help ... removing stock airbox

I want to remove the stock airbox. After removing the two big 'strap hooks', the filter comes out. Now, how to get the cover off?? Is it the two screws/bolts down inside there, are they torx? If so, how to get in there to loosen them? Do I have to remove my hood? Please help.

The bottom half of the air box is attached via a couple of "nipples"...can I say that here?? ( Actually, I prefer to be as politically INcorrect as possible). The bottom half will pull right off by pulling straight up on it. If you are having any trouble or cannot get the leverage, put a long screwdriver (can I say that here?) under it to pop it loose.....oops, can I say "loose" here?
Boy, ain't easy trying to be P.C. is it.
Anyway, that ought to do it.
