The long awaited ZR1 around the Top Gear test track lap happened tonight here in the UK when they did a feature on the ZR1 vs the Audi R8 V10
Clarkson said that given the choice you should buy the ZR1 as it is a much more fun car to drive and you get a lot more as standard like ceramic brakes on the Corvette. The Audi back end was stepping out a lot coming out of the corners whereas even on the damp track where the Audis four wheel drive system should have given it an advantage, the ZR1 was flat out of the corners. I think if the track had been dry the ZR1 would easily have been in the 1.19's
