This is gonna be a close race. When my car was making 394rwhp I would trap about 119mph. I think Gallardos trap around 118mph like you said. It'll come down to driver I think. Your shifts better be dead-on because he ain't missing any with that E-Gear. Be sure to let us know the results... pics or video would be appreciated as well. :coo:

If your both running street tires, it's going to come down to a drivers race. It's all going to come down to who can feather the gas to the tires point of max grip and not spin, and shifting!

go from a 40 roll Zs like a 40 mph roll in second gear. 100mph you will get beat very badly. becuas eyou will be in fourth gear. which is the slowest gear ever.

I agree with the comment above regarding punching off at 100. That is a really tough speed for the Z-06 to go from. It's too high for a third gear punch, but too low for a really strong hit in fourth. I'd go from 40 to 45 (second gear punch) and from 80 to 85 (third gear punch with a strong, quick powershift into fourth). Again, pm or email me and let me know when you guys do it...i'm supposed to have my Viper toward the middle to end of this week. I'd love you run with you.

After some research the car weighs a little over 3500lbs. Factory hp is 510 and 428 tq. I know his car has some exhaust mods though giving another 20 hp or so. IMHO 450 hp and 450 tq and 3100lbs with better gearing is the clear winner.

in the lambos' defense (i was driving) i started all the runs from 2nd gear (40 @ 2nd is dead in the water in the vette let alone the lambo) the time i went from 50 in 2nd you barely edged past me. Granted i was taking the brake, but i think going from the lambo's powerband that the car would hold you off until you started suffering drag and the lambo would pull away top end. But i think it would be close till you hit 5th gear.

So in conclusion lol :crazy: i think the lambo would win in a 1 mile race, or a 65 mph roll on :thumb: i was making ground on you when the lambo hit the power band. but it must have been funplaying around from your end too. You like it when i broke the SV lose taking the turn on the side roads going back to neils house

Friday night was an awesome time. Nick was sleeping in my passenger seat while a Diablo was banging through the gears next to him. I didn't think that was possible. As a said a while ago I think Neil vs me would be a decent race. I'd expect to lose by a little bit to be honest. After 145mph though I'm toast. Drifting in a someone else's diablo has to be fun. I was shocked to see the ass kick out of that thing. How was your "boat ride"?

I know the car very well. All it has is a muffler delete, still has the front cats, and stock air boxes and filters. Real race, youd lose easily.

 

Why do you care Ben? A friendly race between a Lambo and a Z06, and you jump in to blab all of the possible ways the Lambo could win (but didn't). Lamborghini are neat cars, but trolls like you tarnish the Lamborghini mystique unjustly. :screwy:
