The more I drive my C6 Z06 and become familiar with how it "feels", the more I become convinced it weighs a lot more than my previous (stock) C5 Z. The new Z06 just "feels" like a heavier car. This is a subjective observation as I have not actually weighed either car, but I suspect some other owners may have put their cars up on the scales for track duty.
The highest I've seen in the "specs" is 3162lbs. The door jam sticker on my '08 (2LZ) says the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Wt. Rating) is 3651, and usually 400lbs is included for passengers & cargo. So, that would make it 3251. Of course, if the GVWR also includes a full tank of gas, that seems about right iaw the lower "spec".
